High Performance Athlete Life

At the High Performance Sport Institute (HPSI), we believe in empowering athletes to make a difference.

Athlete Life aims to serve as a specialised function that supports the holistic development of our athletes, enabling them to excel both in their sporting endeavours (sport performance) and personal aspirations (life performance). By integrating the demands of high-performance sports with Athlete Life, we ensure that athletes can achieve peak performance while safeguarding their health and well-being, both during their athletic careers and in life beyond sport.

To help our athletes reach their full potential, Athlete Life plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall well-being of athletes and contributes to the HPSI mission to achieve high performance success and inspire and unite the nation through our athletes.

Athlete Life has three main components: Athlete Life Management, spexEducation and spexCareer.

Athlete Life Management (ALM)

ALM aims to empower our athletes to "win" in sports and "win" in life through a proactive, structured and deliberate plan where normative and non-normative transitions in the various life stages are catered for while they pursue sports.
