Pool water quality

To ensure public safety, Sport Singapore has put the following mandates in place for all public swimming pools: 

Environmental Public Health (Swimming Pools) Regulations, Reg 10

Regulations for swimming pools are found in the Environmental Public Health Act, downloadable from EPHA_Reg_10

Circular for swimming pool owners

Guidelines on the use of Chlorine-containing chemicals for disinfecting swimming pools can be found in the Circular for Swimming Pool Owners. The Circular also includes information on how to prevent incidents involving the accidental release of Chlorine gas, with guidelines on storage on handling of chemicals as well as safety and security measures.
