Late payment charges

The late payment charge rate is:

  • 8.1% per annum from 1 April 2024 to 30 September 2024

  • 8.0% per annum from 1 October 2024 to 31 March 2025

  • 7.2% per annum from 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025

The rate is reviewed bi-annually. Late payment charges will continue to be imposed based on the outstanding arrears at the end of every month and is rounded up to the nearest five cent.
